Emmeline the Ghost

Well, not literally a ghost, but scary as one. Actually, even more! Went to Em's hse to dye hers and Sally's hair. So we ended up watching The Omen because I was in a-horror-movie-mood. I only watched the old The Omen. To be honest, The Omen is the least horrific show ever, but Emmeline was so terrified that she scared the wits out of me!! SO SCARY!!! >___<>

Hope Ann (teacher on sat) will approve of Sally's highlights! I dun need a cert so I dun wanna buy it, but I must at least qualify for it! Fight on!

Thinking of joining Ikoma's full-time course. Its like everyday! But soonest date is 9 June for Intermediate I and 2 June for Intermediate 2. I need Intermediate 2 rather than Intermediate 1. And to prepare myself for Intermediate 1 if I decide to take it in the end is too short. Cuz tehre is a evaluation test to place you in the right level. If you are wondering why I need to prepare for Intermediate 1 when I am Intermediate 2 standard, its because I do self study, so what I study is not in order. Need to brush up somemore to secure. Hope theres the workbooks I want at Kino!

LION???

The past weeks I have been attending CC courses. I also ate haberenos at a Mexican cafe by accident, which is one of the top 3 hottest food in the world! And from this I know that Singaporean can take hot stuff because my father had no feeling at all after eating it, and I think Cedar canteen's chilli is hotter. Haha! Also went out with ty and em and that makes me feel better during my pms period.

Em and ty came over on a sunday and slept over! Damn I lost 3 times at Old Maid...so suay!! And I was so convinced at the time that emmeline will become the old maid..So I quickly made my escape and went to sleep. (to ty: I was quite slpy...Let me slp la!) And they pasted weird masking tape over the faces of the photos in my room --- btw I haven taken them down yet.

Thurs went to visit Anqi at her uncle's house to accompany her thru the boring period of her housekeeping there. And there I met a lion!!


Anyway I succumbed to the tutu kueh, sotong balls and fish fillet at the pasar malam today. Ate a lot at Anqi's house also. Gained a lot of weight but no motivation! Guess I have to sign up for yoga at my nearest CC. Hmms.

Lastly, I would like to give my blessings to everyone. Hope emmeline you can accept the cycle of birth and death, and don't be too moody, or get irritated during ur pms. Hope those who didn't score well get into their choice, and hope everyone will do great in life from now on!

Ok! I finally found it! Its yahoo mail! Been too long since I blogged. OEI bunny where are you?? Slacking back home in China? I lost your hp no. you gave last time. I think I forgot to save it! Haha!

OH the temptation of McGriddles! I woke up feeling really hungry, hungrier than usual. Then I thought of McGriddles. Shaking my head, I told myself I should not let ytd's swimming go to waste. So I picked up 3 slices of corn bread (it tastes fabulous) with kaya. Then my sister asked me whether I wanna eat macs (cuz she wanted to have her sausage muffin with egg. So I ended up with a McGriddles burger. Ahhhhh! But it was delicious. I love how the waffles or bun part tastes like pancakes with lotsa butter, without the feel+oiliness of butter. Its not sugary sweet like syrup either. (Hates syrup.)

Recently I seemed to like to push tuition assignments to people. I saw one at crowhurst drive (serangoon gardens there) and one at upper aljunied rd (135, 155, 100) So immediately I thought of gay sihui and zeling. (btw i suspect teh one at aljunied rd may be a cedarian.) I mean gay gay is staying at crowhurst herself! But she called today and she said she dunno whether she can commit cuz she may end up staying in a hostel. WHICH ADDED ON TO MY WORRIES. I'm already teaching 5 kids! One more coming up. Dunno whether I should get a new student. I wanna earn more money during this break. There's a P6 student who wants ppl to commit at least till PSLE. Was considering that because its short term, but because of the hostel thing, I don't want it anymore. I think I should stop. Maybe I can cancel my upcoming P2 for the Sec1 at Crowhurst Drive. Cuz the pay is 5/hr more. The P2 one is really high for a P2 though. 20/hr!

i cant view my blog!!so anyway,today i watched movie!(the warlords).then went to have lunch!nice nice!then went hoem to sleep until 7 pm!haha!!then went to colour my hair with my dad!then dinner then go online!haha!and facebook got problem, i cant open it.

home sweet home..

home sweet home...finally got back to my dearest country!haha...(after 11 months time).it is cold in here..now is about -2.5.everything is ok..daytime go to my grandma's house..night will do sth!haha!haven been updating blog for months!due to a levels..then after that busily prepare for prom..and packing!so much things happened...too much..so lazy to update detailedly...but just say a bit la.
1).PROM.FUN!nat got sweetest couple!nat got miss congeniality!sammy mummy got PROM QUEEN and won a mouse!!haha(i lost face by guessing the wrong country! )
2)TOUCH FAREWELL.OMG,one of the saddest evening...quite a lot of people cried..including coach!

My grandpa's death

My grandfather was an old man, who lived with my stepgrandmother, a bubbly younger (but not young) Indonesian wife in a cosy 3 room HDB flat. Of course, there were generation gaps between him and my generation, but thankfully he has the love of his children and my stepgrandmum. Today he passed away after being admitted for a week, shortly after my sister and his eldest son returned from overseas to see him. Mum went to the hospital first for a family meeting, while dad and jie went out to eat before going over. Since I just had my breakfast, I planned on meeting them later. but soon, my mum called about grandpa's critical condition, and dad and jie were uncontactable. PLUS, it has to be deepavali on this day, when the mrt phone lines are closed. I wanted to ask them to page for them. So instead, I went to Serangoon mrt for help, before heading over. I'm not close to him at all, but I was really sad when he left. I even burst out in tears at the mrt station. I think death is really scary -- I can count the number of people who had died: my sister's fren's mum, who had an abusive husband for yrs, and when she finally got freedom, aka a divorce, she found she had cancer; ms serene ng who died in labour, and other Korean celebrities and mangaka that I know of that have died. All these people are either people who died young, or/and have very little satisfaction in life. And I really would want that satisfaction as well; I don't want to pass away with regrets. That's why I was sorry for my grandpa, cuz he's neglected by others. No one likes a lao gu dong, or a cranky old man, or someone whom they don't share the same frequency with. On the other hand, I think his children really love him, and my stepgrandmum too. I think he's lucky to have her. They got married when they were rather old because my grandfather needs someone to take care after him, and I can assure you she's really a wife to him and not a maid. No matter how he throws his temper at her, she's always cheery. One reason why I think I was so emotional is because my stepgrandmum chatted with me over lunch ytd, and she said that ah gong told her that he was very depressed cause people didn't visit him. People like my aunts, his sons' wives. And partially its because they don't really care. I'm glad to have been a comfort to him ytd, and I'm also glad that his favourite eldest son managed to return ytd to visit him too. At least he managed to have more people to visit him. My sister was too late. Like wth, LUNCH? Lunch at this moment?? So jie didn't managed to catch a last glimpse of a living him. Anyway, its good that he led a long life, albeit not exactly the perfect way he wanted it to be.
